Melanie Chitwood joined the Cohen Lab in July 2019 as a Research Associate. Her current work involves using Bayesian models to estimate tuberculosis incidence in Brazil. Broadly, she is passionate about using modeling to understand and reduce the global burden of tuberculosis and other infectious diseases. Ms. Chitwood received her BA from Hampshire College and her MS in Global Health and Population from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
